Lithium thionyl chloride batteries are primary cells (not rechargeable) made up of a solution of thionyl chloride and lithium. They stand out for the highest energy density amog primary battery.

Available in 2 technologies:
- bobbin for low currents of use with high capacity;
- spiral for high discharge currents.

Main features:
- nominal voltage 3,6V;
- high energy density;
- low self-discharge;
- large temperature range;
- very long operational and storage life.
