Lithium-ion batteries (Li-ion) are rechargeable batteries characterized by a low weight thanks to high charge of the Lithium ion. To guarantee the highest levels of safety, they are equipped with a protection circuit against short-circuit, over-charging and over-discharging, optional temperature.
